Probably Pixar's most visually captivating animation ever created. Experience Día de los Muertos in the most colourful light.
2. Hocus Pocus
It wouldn’t be October without revisiting our 3 favourite witches and letting them put a spell on us. Not to forget – Hocus Pocus 2 is also out now on Disney+ so a refresher of the original is 100% necessary.
3. The Addams Family
This 1991 version will always have a special place in our hearts as we watch this eccentric family's story unfold on our screens.
4. Matilda
A little bit of playful, magical goodness – it has to be Roald Dahl’s Matilda.
5. Harry Potter – The Philosopher's stone
Of course, you could pick any one of the Harry Potters series - but for the sake of that Halloween “troll in the dungeon scene,” we unapologetically choose Harry’s first year at Hogwarts.
6. Casper
We couldn’t possibly get through the month without putting the friendliest ghost ever on our screens and the incredible Robin Williams for a good old school giggle.
7. Soul
Potentially this could be controversial to put on this list – but if you haven’t watched this, we couldn’t recommend it more. It gives a sense of magic with its otherworldly, spiritually beautiful animation.
8. Hotel Transylvania
Looking for a chuckle on the couch with the kids? Pop on Count Dracula and enjoy him catering for the rest of the world’s monsters in Hotel Transylvania.
