Step out of your Winter Wardrobe and get ready for Spring

As we transition from the darker days of Winter, its definitely time to reflect this in our  wardrobe! While staple knits and go-to black tops, dresses and pants should always remain, it is time however, to inject those wonderful lighter tones into our everyday look.

Even nature is refreshing its colour pallet as delightful variations of yellow can be seen peeking through the winter grass, as daffodils raise their heads to remind us Spring is arriving!

But don't worry, as temperatures still warrant a cosy fire, its definitely not the time to be ditching heavier fabrics and warm layers, but it is time to add some freshness!

We will take you through our top 3 tips at freshening up your Winter wardrobe to be Spring ready!

1. Outerwear

Who does't love a good coat? While our longline Winter wools are still in season, it is the perfect time to invest in a lighter coat  for layering with those soft cosy knits. Choosing calming and paler tones will also see you through the slightly chillier Summer nights.

2. Boots

We all know it is worth investing in a good pair of boots each winter but this doesn't mean they need to be moved to the back of the wardrobe just yet. The  chunky, sturdy lug soled boot has been prominent on our Insta feeds the last few months and with good reason too! It's been a year for comfort and the combat style boots will take us anywhere, even in Spring. Pair them with a floaty billowing dress  and soft knit or a cropped straight leg jean for an edgier look. These boots are made for walkin', wearin' and stylin' !

3. Let there be light!

Adding fresh, bright or neutral tones to our darker and richer winter wear can spruce up any ensemble, moving it straight into the new season! Whether its a pop of colour cardi, a Spring ready shacket  paired with black jeans or floral shift dress with tights - some simple tweaks will refresh our looks into the current trend.
