Long-awaited and far overdue, we are more than ready to RSVP to everything and go on the hunt for that perfect dress.  I think it is fair to say we deserve the glow up with a dash of prosecco.

So, if that special occasion is on the horizon and you are looking for something to make you feel a million bucks, allow us to help you get lost in these latest arrivals with a couple of styling tips along the way.

Be Our Guest:

Sometimes wedding invitations come through the door, and I am so excited I could burst. But then the next one comes, and the next one... And I have run out of every single outfit idea and option in my wardrobe and mind. This time around, I have never looked forward to seeing someone walk down the aisle and raising a glass to them.

Kick back into the celebrations this Autumn Winter, wearing a vibrant yet not overbearing, blood orange number. Our Cammie Dress has stolen the show here at Willow with its strikingly yet subtle one-shoulder detailed moment and its structured fit at the waistline with a slightly peplumed finish.

Complete the look: Keep it simplistic. This dress is vibrant and is the centrepiece of the entire look. Wear it with a slicked back hair or an up style to not have too much going on. Mimic this with your jewellery choices.

Hostess With the Mostest:

When we think of this phrase, I always feel that hostess needs a lavish and sophisticated outfit but we all know that we want to keep it fun, easy-wear and comfortable because we are the ones who will be wearing it all day long, and in a pair of heels at that.

We firmly believe The Rebecca Dress ticks all the boxes here. It's neutral tones and slight touch of muted blue and green throughout makes this print the picture of elegance. We adore the monochromatic beaded detailing on the collar, subtly complemented by a frill on the shoulder area.

Complete the look: Keep everything to a minimum. Think studded earrings and barely-there sandals. If we overdo it, the outfit will quickly become too blocky and confusing to the eye against the collar detail and print. Less is more.

Steal The Show:

If we are thinking of New Year's Eve, a black-tie event or a winter wedding, this should be the outfit that will make you feel most glamourous. And do not worry, Jean bought in that exact piece and it has made every one of us here at Willow say ‘Wow’ out loud.

The Mikela Jumpsuit. Need we say more? If you have a big event before the end of the year, there has never been a better investment piece to treat yourself to. It cinches in at the waist, with a flared leg and a slightly puffed shoulder feature. All of those elements combined makes this jumpsuit exceptionally flattering. And let us not forget the beaded detailing, giving a unique shape to the V-neck feature.

Complete the look: The options are endless. We recommend wearing a delicate silver necklace to bring out the shine of the beaded detailing by the chest area. Complement it with a clutch & you are ready to waltz into wherever your heart desires.

And this is just the beginning of our occasion wear landing into our online store, so keep those eyes peeled & we will keep working on these short style guides.

Love,
