The Harter Blouse is a ruffled cotton-linen blouse from Parisian label FRNCH, in a small cream and black gingham check. The most decorative thing in the collection, and the easiest to build an outfit around.

A gathered neckline ties at the front with a soft bow, above a body that falls loose to a ruffled hem. The sleeves are the detail — full and balloon-shaped through the arm, gathered into a deep ruffled cuff. The cotton-linen has a dry, matte handle that holds the volume rather than letting it collapse.

Fit and sizing: loose and voluminous through the body and sleeve, with a tie neckline that adjusts. Available in sizes XS to L.

Fabric and care: 70% cotton, 30% linen. Cool gentle wash. Warm iron. Do not tumble dry. Linen creases — that is the fabric behaving as it should.

How to wear it: with straight or wide-leg denim and a flat shoe to keep it from tipping into fussy. It also works under a plain knit with just the ruffled cuffs showing.
