The Smolikas Trousers are a wide-leg winter trouser from Parisian label FRNCH, cut in a brushed polyester and alpaca blend. A soft everyday trouser for autumn and winter — warm without weight, and fluid enough to wear from the office to dinner.

The leg falls wide and straight with a relaxed drape that moves as you do rather than holding a sharp crease. The brushed alpaca blend gives a lightly hazy surface and a soft handle, in a deep navy that sits easily alongside cream, chocolate and burgundy.

Fit and sizing: relaxed through the hip and leg. Available in sizes XS to XL.

Fabric and care: 60% polyester, 40% alpaca. Cool gentle wash or dry clean. Do not tumble dry. Reshape and dry flat.

How to wear it: with a fine-knit roll-neck and ankle boots for weekday wear, or a fitted knit and heeled boot for evening. The wide leg balances a closer-fitting top half.
